Description
Blendspace is an organization tool that allows an instructor to create interactive lessons. These lessons can include instructional, review or collaborative components. Content can be in the form of graphics, videos, documents, presentations and quizzes. Through careful design, the learner is guided through the content and given the opportunity to learn at his/her own pace. Opportunities for practice and collaboration can be used to enhance learning and foster community in a social learning environment.

- Difficult concepts can be broken into segments to aid learners in understanding the material. An example of this is using multiple videos to explain the stages of metamorphosis.
- By using a variety of relevant content the learner's attention is held and maintained. Through practice and collaborative activities confidence is built learner satisfaction achieved.
- Content from reliable sources allow the learner to learn from the More Knowledgeable Other (MKO) in a social environment.
